Dr. Valerie Irvine is a professor of educational technology and co-director of the Technology Integration and Evaluation (TIE) Research Lab at the University of Victoria. Her work focuses on empowering the learner in both informal and formal learning environments through personalization, connectivity, openness, assessment for learning, and multi-access learning.
