We’re getting excited about presentations
@ DLAC 2020!

If you haven’t seen the detailed conference program, the agenda, presentation descriptions and speakers are now available to start planning your DLAC 2020 schedule. We encourage you to take a peek. Over the next few weeks we’ll be talking about the sessions in emails and on Twitter @theDLAC.

Keep in mind that the program is designed for lots of different types of attendees. If you want to join a small discussion, join a table talk! If you prefer to engage in a workshop, we’ll have plenty of those. Plus, there will be Pecha Kucha presentations, short talks, and lots of time and places to create your own conversations.

DLAC includes sessions for mainstream schools, online schools, and everyone involved in digital learning.

Rural Schools Digital Learning Summit @DLAC

We’re pleased to announce that Future of School and the Virtual Learning Leadership Alliance are holding a pre-DLAC Rural Schools Digital Learning Summit on Sunday afternoon/evening and Monday morning. Details, including topics and an agenda, are here.

Space is still available. Contact Amy Valentine (avalentine@futureof.school) for more information or to express interest in attending.

  • The Research Community Meeting is an annual event preceding DLAC that brings those in the K-12 digital, online, and blended research field together to collaborate and work to figure out what’s working and not working in today’s learning landscape. The Research Community Meeting is open to non-researchers and researchers alike, and will be held on Sunday, February 23, from 1pm to 6pm. Registration for the Research Community Meeting is required, and the event is filling quickly! Click here to reserve your spot!
  • The hotel room block at the Hyatt is sold out, but a block at a nearby hotel is still available. If you want to stay near the heart of the gathering, don’t wait until it’s too late!
  • DLAC 2020 is introducing the DLAC Superintendent’s Program, a curated conference experience for invited superintendents who are interested in networking with their peers as they start or grow online, blended, and digital learning in their districts.
  • The DLAC Group Rate is only $599 per registration for districts or schools registering a minimum of five attendees through February 11th.
