Invitation To The 27th ICDE World Conference On Online Learning: Teaching In The Digital Age – October 16-19, 2017, Toronto, Canada

This conference may be of interest to some of our members.

Contact North | Contact Nord is organizing and hosting the World Conference on Online Learning in October 2017 in Toronto. We anticipate the 1,000+ delegates from 95 countries around the world attending the World Conference would be very interested in the insights of your important research and publications in this innovative area.

The theme of the World Conference is Teaching in a Digital Age: Re-Thinking Teaching & Learning. It is a wonderful opportunity to continue the discussion of where online learning will take us in 2017 and beyond.

Given your research leadership, I encourage you to consider making a submission to the Call for Proposals for the World Conference. There are five specific tracks, flowing from the theme of Teaching in a Digital Age, including:

·        Emerging Pedagogies and Designs for Online Learning
·        Expanding Access, Openness, and Flexibility
·        Changing Models of Assessment
·        New Delivery Tools and Resources for Learning
·        Re-designed Institutional Business Models

There is a complete description of the Theme and Tracks on the World Conference portal, as well as details on submitting to the Call for Proposals. The deadline for submissions is June 30, 2017, and all submissions are subject to peer review.

Already, more than 300 individuals from 33 countries around the world responded to the Call for Proposals to present at the World Conference on Online Learning in one or more of the Five Tracks. Interest in the World Conference continues to grow with more submissions each week – and there are still more than 5 months to go before the opening of the World Conference! This high level of response to the Call for Proposals sets the stage for a high quality and engaging program for all delegates.

Registration is now open for the World Conference. Click here for full details and access to the online registration system. All delegates are responsible for paying the conference registration fee and their related travel and accommodation expenses.

I look forward to receiving your proposal and welcoming you to the World Conference on Online Learning in October 2017!
