blendED 2017 – Alberta’s Blended and Online Learning Symposium ~

blendED 2017 was held October 25-27 in Edmonton and was focused on applying flexible learning strategies in various learning spaces. It was the 3rd blendED Symposium and attracted participants from throughout Canada.

The pre-symposium explored blendED learning strategies that support First Nations, Métis and Inuit Learners and how they can apply to all learners. Sean Lessard provided an engaging keynote and Explored the Possibilities of Curriculum Making Both In and Outside of School Places.

Over the final two days of the Symposium, attendees participated in over 40 sessions and engaged in dialogue with their peers as well as leaders in online and blendED learning. A few of the sessions from the event are highlighted here.

Thank you to the blendED organizers for the warm welcome extended to CANeLearn again this year. We look forward to next year’s event.
