Dear Fellow e-learning Summit Participants, and now Confederation of Online and Blended Learning members,I wish to thank everyone for having taken the time and found the energy to come together for what I believe will become Canada’s first and only K-12 online/blended learning organization. The vision which we collectively started to generate last week will certainly require a continued level of commitment and energy from everyone in order for it to be fully realized, however, as we all recognized, those present last week are people of action. As promised, I had usernames and passwords created for all who were present for Zenlive which is our web-conferencing platform which is similar to other platforms with which you are likely familiar such as Elluminate or Adobe Connect.Below are instructions on how to access the platform. Should you have any questions, or any issues, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. This is the platform we agreed would be employed for group meetings such as the one planned for iNacol in October. You will find your usernames and passwords in the attachment entitled Pan-Canadian participant list Zenlive docx. How to access Zenlive:You can access Zenlive by going to: http://login.zenlive.ca. E
nter your credentials in the login page and this will bring you to the Agenda. Here you will be able to create meetings, upload documents and videos, collaborate with others and simply begin to use Zenlive. When using Zenlive, it is important to use a USB headset properly configured to your computer in order to avoid echo problems. This should be set-up before you enter the Zenlive platform by going to your computer Preferences and configuring the headset so that the Zenlive Configuration Wizard will recognize the headset and give you the option of choosing it in the microphone options.I am attaching to this email, the navigation guide, minimum requirements and FAQ documents for Zenlive. These documents will help you navigate the platform.Michael CanuelCEOLEARN
