Speak Up Appreciation Week: January 14th-18th!

Thanks to our state and national Speak Up partners, we can again offer some wonderful prizes – including conference registrations, memberships and professional development – to the educators participating in Speak Up!

Once administrators, teachers, librarians and tech leaders complete their Speak Up surveys this year, they will have the option to complete an entry form and select the prizes they hope to win. These forms are separate from the Speak Up surveys to maintain anonymity of Speak Up responses.

We will be announcing winning educators during this week of Speak Up Appreciation Week, check out our social media to find out if you are a winner! We will also announce the last winners next Monday 1/21!

Speak Up promotional materials are available to help all participating schools and districts get the word out to their students, parents, staff and community!

National Speak Up Day 1/16

National Speak Up Day is the day to encourage your students, teachers, and parents to take the Speak Up 2018 surveys. This is always one of our busiest days when thousands of participants share their views on technology and learning.

Participate and increase the chances to win conference registration, professional development, and memberships from our partners.

Speak Up Snapshots

While some districts get all the feedback data they need from participating in the annual Speak Up project, we have found that others either need additional data to drill down on a topic or only need a specific set of data on one topic. We have created Speak Up Snapshots to help meet those needs, beginning with a mobile learning evaluation tool and a professional learning feedback tool.

Beginning in 2018, schools and districts can choose to 1) participate in Speak Up by selecting one of our annual question decks (current or longitudinal) as needed to collect feedback from their students, staff, parents and/or community, 2) use one or all of these new Snapshots as stand-alone tools 3) use all the Speak Up tools: annual Speak Up questions and Speak Up Snapshots.

Just like our annual survey, there is no cost to participate and you have the option to register as the primary contact to gain access to your data results. Speak Up Snapshots are currently open for participation during the same period as Speak Up.

This year’s Snapshot themes include:

Mobile Learning Impact (15 questions)
Teacher Professional Learning (15 questions)
Parent School-to-Home Communications (5 questions)
Parent School Safety (5 questions)
Student Digital Citizenship (5 questions)

By completing these mini-surveys you will add your input to the national data! Learn more about these Snapshots here.
