Good Afternoon Campus Alberta Colleagues:
On behalf of the Steering Committee for the Campus Alberta Open Educational Resources (ABOER) Initiative, I am pleased to announce two new funding opportunities. We would appreciate your distribution of this announcement and I encourage your institution to apply.

  1. OER Adoption Pilots:

Alberta institutions may apply for up to $10,000 as contribution to an OER Adoption Pilot initiative on your campus in Fall 2016 that includes capacity building. Faculty leadership within the 26 Campus Alberta Publicly Funded Institutions and 5 First Nations Colleges are eligible to apply.

  1. OER Peer Reviews:

Alberta faculty members may be awarded $500.00 to review an OER that replaces an existing student paid resource relating to one or more of the top 50 highest enrolled courses at your institution. Faculty within the 26 Campus Alberta Publicly Funded Institutions and 5 First Nations Colleges are eligible to apply.
