Leadership Award
The CNIE Leadership Award is given in recognition of outstanding service to the field of technology or media in education or of distance education. There may be no more than two recipients in any one year. An Award may not be made if, in the opinion of the Selection Committee, no suitable nominations are received that year.
Criteria

1. The nominee has been active in the education field for at least 10 years and is a member of CNIE.

2. The nominee’s contribution in the field may have been at a local, regional, national and/or international level.

3. The Award may be presented to someone who is active or retired.

4. Nominations may be made by any member of CNIE. However, the names of two other CNIE supporting nominators are required.

5. The nomination must include a brief biographical sketch of the nominee as well as any other information that will be helpful to the Selection Committee in making its decision. This information should include the nominee’s educational background and a brief description of the outstanding contributions that the nominee has made.

Presentation of the Award(s) will be made at the CNIE Annual Conference Opening Reception. The nominator will have the responsibility of introducing the recipient at this event.

Prix de Leadership
Le Prix de leadership du RCIÉ est décerné à une personne qui s’est  distinguée d’une manière exceptionnelle dans le domaine de la technologie ou des  médias ou de l’éducation à distance. Il n’y aura pas plus de deux lauréats au  cours d’une année donnée. Il se peut également qu’aucun prix ne soit décerné si,  de l’avis du comité de sélection, aucun candidat adéquat n’a été proposé au  cours de ladite année.
Critères

1. La personne proposée est active dans le domaine de l’éducation depuis au moins dix ans et est membre du RCIÉ.

2. Il peut s’agir d’une contribution exceptionnelle à l’échelle locale, régionale  et/ou internationale.

3. Le prix peut être décerné à une personne encore active ou à la retraite.

4. Les mises en candidature peuvent être effectuées par n’importe quel membre du  RCIÉ. Il faut toutefois que la candidature soit appuyée par deux autres membres  du RCIÉ

5. La proposition de candidature doit inclure un bref profil du candidat ou de la  candidate ainsi que tout autre renseignement qui pourrait aider le comité de  sélection dans sa tâche, notamment le niveau de scolarité de la personne  proposée et une brève description de sa contribution exceptionnelle.

La  remise du ou des prix se fera dans le cadre d’une réception qui aura lieu  pendant la réception d’accueil du congrès annuel du RCIÉ. Il incombera à  l’auteur/e de la proposition de candidature de présenter le lauréat ou la  lauréate lors de cette réception.
Date limite
