Last week Verena Roberts presented some of the research that she has done with blended teachers in Michigan. While the research is focused exclusively on teachers in Michigan, it has many parallels for our blended learning practice here in Canada. It is also a good illustration of a Canadian educator doing research in the US, and asking the right questions and drawing conclusions for application in any jurisdiction. We note that the question and answer portion included a discussion that was quite deep and just as beneficial as the presentation, maybe more.
