And what will come of the teaching profession as automation threatens so many jobs?
Will artificial intelligence surpass human intelligence in school?
We already have robots and bots designed to teach and serve as personal assistants; could they someday replace teachers?
Some students have been doing without trained teachers for a long time, and now some schools are experimenting entirely without the latter.
This presentation looks at the technological and social forces that will forever change the structure of schools and the role of teachers, especially those that distance teaching and learning.
