K-12 Blended Teaching Competencies: Developing and Assessment and Instruction for Pre-service Teachers

Presented by: Dr. Charles Graham, Brigham Young University

An increasing number of K-12 schools are adopting blended learning approaches. There is limited empirical research to assess K-12 blended teaching readiness and guide teacher skill development. This presentation will highlight recent work that we have done to develop a blended teaching readiness instrument. We will also share ongoing efforts to create a blended teaching knowledge assessment and OER course materials in four areas (1) integrating online and in-person activities, (2) real-time data practices, (3) personalizing instruction, and (4) technology-mediated interactions.

Zoom Synchronous Meeting

Feel free to invite your colleagues and students who are not AECT members but might be interested in the topic.
