Welcome to the September CANeLearn News.Welcome to September and the start of yet another new school year for many. While the summer has quickly disappeared in the rearview mirror for those in the west, it is still appearing larger than life in the east – more of a side-mirror view weather-wise! Our September news announces some director changes on the CANeLearn board with Ramona Stillar from LOCCS in Saskatchewan joining us as we say goodbye and thank you to Kevin Wttewaall for his service over the past years as he moves on to new adventures after his retirement from Rocky View Schools. See the full list of board members here: https://new.canelearn.net/canelearnbod/ . We are also pleased to announce a new vision and mission for our organization along with a revised strategic plan following our board retreat in July. See more here: https://new.canelearn.net/about-us/ We are expanding our CANeLearn members-only section on our website – watch for announcements and a members-only email with instructions. We are looking to add your voice to our news, blog, and Twitter feed and invite you to share your stories with us. As usual, this newsletter also includes updates, links, and items of interest.
