“Participating in Speak Up provides individual building and district administrators with anonymous responses to a variety of topics. Themes included in the questions align with a majority of technology initiatives implemented by districts. Speak Up allows school administrators to gauge the student’s access, use and need for additional classroom technologies and supports throughout the learning process.” – Kansas school administrator

NEW: Choose your own Speak Up questions!

For the first time in Speak Up history, school districts now have a choice of question decks they can use!

In an effort to give administrators more control over their Speak Up experience, we’ve added customizable District Direct Landing pages and a choice of question decks! For schools who use Speak Up to track longitudinal (year-over-year) changes, you can now select to use the questions that were asked the last time your stakeholders participated, or to use the latest 2018 questions. (If you are new to Speak Up, you will use the 2018 question decks this year.)

Project Tomorrow Takes Data Privacy Seriously!

As all educational leaders, especially those of us who work with student data, we are concerned with data privacy. To help all who are involved in Speak Up (and other Project Tomorrow projects) better understand how we use data shared with us, we have updated our privacy policies. In addition, we have divided our policies into 1) an overall website privacy policy and 2) a data privacy policy

Bottom line: All of the data collected as part of the Speak Up Research Project for Digital Learning is anonymous and confidential. We are very intentional about not collecting any identifying information, and we do not share any individual Speak Up responses with anyone.
