How Many Is Too Many: What Do We Know About Class Size and Online Learning?

In 2019 the Government of Ontario engaged in a public consultation around class sizes that would have increased the class size limit for online courses to be 25% higher than regular classroom courses. This session will examine the different types of teachers involve in the online environment, describe the literature related to online learning class size internationally, and explore what is known about the relationship between online class size and student performance.
