The transition from the classroom to online teaching is not as simple as many first believe. It involves both a fundamental shift in perspectives of time and communication as well as grounding in theory and pedagogy, beyond the obvious technical skills. While many programs have some type of onboarding process, most teacher training is left to formal institutions.
