Welcome to the September CANeLearn News
As the summer heat fades and the needle starts its counter-clockwise return, we set our sights on the promises of a new school year. CANeLearn is launching new research on e-learning student supports (see below), has embarked on a series of conversations about AI, and is sharing AI insights and resources on a project website. See more details below.
The CANeLearn AGM is Thursday, September 11 online at 10:30 am ET, 7:30 am PT. See the agenda and Zoom link here. Also, check our partner events below.
- CANeLearn is conducting research in October and November (new dates) and looking for your help. Online programs from across Canada will be selected to study the supports provided for online learning students. Online schools and programs can select a specific population of students (e.g., marginal students, Indigenous learners, at-risk students, adult learners, etc.). Researchers will explore what types of support are available to students, what students are aware of, and what types of support they actually use.
