- Researchers have found that artificial intelligence is now lying about some subjects 35% of the time—nearly twice the rate of 18% from a year ago.

The rate for Perplexity was 47% and for Meta and ChatGPT it was 40%. Claude was the most accurate, offering up false reports just 10% of the time.
While the methodology is suspect, the message still remains clear.
