* The “Top 10 Things Everyone Should Know About Students and Digital Learning” PowerPoint template is now available for Speak Up 2017 data!
* NEW this year: Data and discussion guides for all new infographics!

New Speak Up Tools

We are creating new tools to help you make sense of your Speak Up data and put it to good use! As in previous years, we’ve created a PowerPoint template that you can modify to share the “Top 10 Things Everyone Should Know about Students and Digital Learning.” Download the file, follow the instructions in the notes section of the file and use the finished product to share the views of your students with your colleagues and community!

NEW this year! We are creating data and discussion guides for every new infographic. Starting with “Glimpse into the State of Digital Citizenship Education,” you will now find links in the left-hand column of the page to the following:
* Data Guide – this guide identifies where all of the data comes from in the infographic, allowing you to more easily pull the corresponding results from your data for comparisons.
* Student Discussion Guide – we hope you use your Speak Up data to talk with your students about the results, so we are creating these guides to get the discussion started. Use them in small, focus group-type settings or to get your creative juices flowing!
* Educator Discussion Guide – likewise, Speak Up data can spark productive conversations among your educators. These guides can be used in Professional Learning Networks, teacher team meetings, planning days, workshops, etc.

We asked high school students to design a new participant badge for us for Speak Up 2018. We announced the finalists in February, but now it’s time for YOU to help us pick the winner! Voting will close this Friday, April 13 at 8pmET/5pmPT.

We are considering some new participation windows this year, so getting your input now will help us plan.
