About the Course
The TLO Course has seven units on various topics, most are required, and the rest are optional. CANeLearn offers a certificate for completing six units: LMS skills, four core units of study, a choice of one of two optional units, and the final Sandbox, where you apply your learning. Core and optional units are designed to be completed in 3-5 hours; the final Sandbox unit will be longer, depending on your skill level.
The full certificate course is based on a five-week time frame, and you will likely need to commit approximately 30 to 40 hours to complete the course. The course completion time will depend on each participant’s skills, experience, time invested in required assignment completion, and the chosen optional unit.
The course is designed to be approximately 90% asynchronous and 10% synchronous (live meetings/discussion with the Course Facilitator), who provides personal feedback on participant progress. There are no grades for the course; on successful completion, participants receive a CANeLearn certificate.
The registration fee for the course is $450 and is paid upfront. A separate email with an invoice that can be paid online by credit card will be sent on registration. On payment, information on logging into the course will follow.
