The Learning Accelerator’s Measurement Agenda for Blended Learning
Wednesday, 3/16, 2pm EST

What do we know, and what do we still need to know, about the effectiveness of blended learning? Join us in this session to talk about a proposed path forward for measuring blended learning initiatives, including steps that each of us can take to help grow our collective understanding of what the evidence says.
All webinars are held via Adobe Connect (https://connect.mivu.org/mvlri); there is no registration required. Attendees are encouraged to participate in our collaborative meetings using audio headsets and the text chat window. We also encourage attendees to chat on Twitter using #MVLRIchat.

Our latest podcast episode features Kristin Fontichiaro, of the University of Michigan, talking about a current project of hers focused on building student capacity to interpret data and statistics, working with librarians throughout the state of Michigan to develop and implement professional development modules for that effort. We also chat about another passion of hers, makerspaces, and how they can be used to engage learners in creative and stimulating ways. Listen here.
We teamed with Public Sector Consultants to survey the public’s opinions about online learning opportunities in Michigan. Just as in our previous year’s report, a strong majority of respondents indicated that it is important for middle and high school students to have the option of enrolling in online courses. To learn more about the findings, read the full report here.
