Although we are accepting proposals until Monday, September 23, we encourage you to submit sooner, because learning about the proposals we are receiving will help us with program planning. Proposals submitted by July 15th will receive priority consideration. For additional information about the DLAC proposal submissions and presentation format, please follow this link to our website.

As you will see in the Call for Proposals, the program for DLAC differs from the typical education conference. The time allotted to sessions will vary considerably, with an emphasis on shorter, more interactive discussions instead of longer, sit-and-get presentations. Most talks will be 15 minutes, plus 5 minutes of discussion. We encourage organized sessions, in which one organizer combines four speakers around one topic, as well. Other sessions will range from very short presentations (6 minutes) to table talks, debates, and workshops up to 80 minutes.

Super Early Bird Conference Registration Extended

Attendees who are employed by a school or school district are eligible for the Super Early Bird rate of $499. This is the lowest rate for an individual attendee that will be available, and is only available until July 15 and only available to school and district educators. We are offering this rate at this time for two reasons. First, we want to encourage school and district leaders to attend DLAC, and we recognize that these entities may be more budget-sensitive than other types of organizations. Second, some school leaders have expressed interest in being able to tap into funds after July 1 when most 2019-20 fiscal years begin.

General registration for the conference is now open by going to the registration page of the website. Early Bird pricing is available through November 1, 2019.
