Join us for our annual Congressional Briefing and the release our new Speak Up report focused on digital learning. We’ll release the new report and infographics about the findings and hear directly from a panel of students and educators who will share their first-hand perspectives on the role of technology in supporting a variety of learning experiences. Additionally, we will explore the impact of digital learning on students’ college and career readiness as well as schools’ responses to the challenges associated with the effective use of technology in children’s lives today.
The Speak Up Research Initiative, a national initiative of Project Tomorrow, is both a national research project and a free service to schools and districts everywhere. This briefing is part of a continuing series of annual Briefings facilitated by Project Tomorrow since 2004 to inform federal policymakers and thought leaders about the changing education landscape especially as it pertains to the effective use of digital tools, content and resources to support student learning. Each year over 400,000 K-12 students, parents, community members, teachers and administrators share their hopes, dreams and frustrations with education technology with Project Tomorrow as part of the Speak Up Project. More than 5.7 million participants have made Speak Up the largest collection of authentic, unfiltered stakeholder input on education, technology, schools of the future, science and math instruction, professional development and career exploration.
